Description

In our unit, we are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Alelyckan water treatment plant and its associated facilities. Our mission is to deliver clean and safe drinking water to the residents of Gothenburg around the clock. The operation is monitored from our control room, where operations and maintenance personnel work together to optimize the performance of the facilities.

Responsibilities

As a maintenance engineer, you have a strategic key role in the development of our maintenance work.

In your daily work, you will:

• Drive and develop maintenance strategies to ensure long-term and needs-based maintenance.
• Be responsible for and further develop our maintenance system (IFS) and maintenance manual.
• Develop and update plans for preventive maintenance and conduct criticality classifications.
• Identify and analyze maintenance needs, including root cause analyses and LCC analyses.
• Follow up and improve work processes by analyzing completed maintenance and developing and reviewing work preparations.
• Monitor maintenance aspects in projects and ensure that our maintenance standards are followed.
• Guide and collaborate with maintenance planners to develop and optimize maintenance work.
• Work on improvements and developments to increase the availability and lifespan of the facilities.
• Prepare training materials and train new staff regarding maintenance in drinking water production.

Qualifications

Requirements

• University education with a technical focus or KY education in maintenance, or equivalent work experience.
• At least five years of experience in maintenance work in a strategic role, for example in maintenance systems, long-term planning, and strategy.
• Very good computer skills and digital competence, as well as experience and ability to work in and develop methods in digital systems.
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing.
• Driver's license B.

Meritorious

• Experience with IFS maintenance module.
• Experience in food production.

The position is security classified and requires an approved security review, including alcohol and drug testing and background checks via Säpo.
